Monte Sacro

The IV. Munizipium Monte Sacro is one of the 19 municipalities of the city of Rome . It is located northeast of the old town on the east bank of the Tiber .

Monte Sacro had 197,256 inhabitants (2006). It is divided into the following districts:

Most of the Monte Sacro district emerged as a medium-sized residential area after the Second World War. The Via Salaria runs through it.
