Moorsele is a Belgian village in the province of West Flanders , near the French border. In 1977 Moorsele was incorporated into Wevelgem . About 6251 people lived in the place (2006), there are also two schools and several other public buildings.

The A17 / E403 motorway runs through the Moorseles area and the Gullegem-Moorsele industrial area is located on the eastern side. Moorsele is separated from the main municipality of Wevelgem by the A19 motorway, which runs in an east-west direction . Both motorways meet at the Moorsele motorway junction southeast of Moorsele .

In Moorsele there are two military cemeteries with victims of the First World War : in the center the “Moorsele Military Cemetery”, further outside the “Kezelberg Military Cemetery”.
