Morgan Northrop (born April 16, 1994 in Haymarket ) is an American freestyle skier . She specializes in the aerials (jumping) discipline.

Career

Northrop started in Lake Placid for the first time in the Nor-Am Cup in February 2013 and finished tenth and sixth. At the Junior World Championships 2013 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , she jumped to ninth place. She made her World Cup debut in January 2014 at Deer Valley Resort , which she finished in 31st place. In March 2018, she became American champion in Park City . In the 2018/19 season she came in the top ten twice in the World Cup and thus achieved 12th place in the Aerials World Cup. At the season highlight, the 2019 World Championships in Park City , she finished 12th.
