Morne Acouma is a small volcanic mountain in Parish Saint Mark , Dominica . Morne Acouma only reaches a height of approx. 400 m , but forms an important boundary marker in the north of the Parish. It is an extension of the Soufrière Ridge .
geography
The mountain is a western branch of the Soufrière Ridge and extends almost to the coast. From Soufrière the coastal road winds in steep serpentines over the southern flank of the mountain to the north. Through the areas of La Sorciere ("The Witch") and Bois Serpe , where the border with Parish Saint Luke runs in the valley between Morne Acouma and Morne Cabrits, neighboring to the north .
