Morscheck & Burgmann

Morscheck & Burgmann is a German musician duo, which has been formed since 1990 from Peter Morscheck (acoustic guitar / vocals) and Chris Burgmann (acoustic guitar / vocals) and mainly plays instrumental music.

The musicians

Peter Morscheck (* 1960) lives in Löchgau and works as a freelance guitar teacher. He is a graduate of the guitar course at the Bundesakademie Trossingen and a socio-pedagogical degree.

Chris Burgmann (* 1962) lives in Ingersheim and is a guitar teacher and director of the Affalterbach youth music school . He is a graduate of the State University of Music Mannheim-Heidelberg. He is the studio guitarist and arranger for Reinhard Mey and in 1989 he was co-author of the pure song When she hears this tango .

The music

Morscheck & Burgmann offer a mixture of instrumental string sounds and songs with two-part singing. The CD Contakt was also released in the USA, the bilingual guitar books (English, German) are distributed internationally. Their music can also be heard on radio and television in other countries and is also played or recorded by other musicians. Nine CDs have now been released.

In 2008 Morscheck & Burgmann took part in the event "Germany and China - Moving Together" and gave several concerts in Guangzhou , China.

Awards

For their musical project Fools Garden meets Morscheck & Burgmann they received the Ravensburger Kupferle Cabaret Prize 2005.
