The Mosque Ibrahim Ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Ibrahim or Caracas mosque is a mosque in the district of Parroquia El Recreo in Caracas . It is the second largest mosque in Latin America , only surpassed by the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Buenos Aires , built in 2000 .

The construction of the Ibrahim Ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Ibrahim mosque began in 1989 under the patronage of Sheikh Ibrahim Bin Abdulaziz, the architect was Zuheir Fayez . The building covers an area of ​​5000 m², the minaret has a height of 113 meters, the dome has an internal height of 23 meters. The mosque was opened to the public in 1993 and can accommodate 3500 worshipers.

There are an estimated 50,000 Muslims in Caracas , the majority of whom are of Arab origin.
