The Moska MB ( Russian Моска МБ ) was a Russian military aircraft at the time of the First World War .

development

The reconnaissance machine developed in 1915 was designed as a shoulder- wing aircraft. The wings and tail unit were designed to be foldable on the ground to facilitate transport. In order to guarantee the crew a good view, the wing root was left uncovered. This led to a significant loss of performance, which was only noticed after the start of production. This loophole was closed later. Twelve machines were built and were in service until 1918.
