Moth Beeck

The Motte Beeck is the heavily overgrown remnant of a high medieval , fortified estate near the church tower of St. Vincentius in the center of Beeck , a current district of Wegberg in the Heinsberg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

From the two-part wood and earth castle with an artificially elevated main castle (" Motte "), which was built in the backwater of the Beeckbach, the Hofgut "Haus Beeck" with the stone gate construction of the 17th century developed.
