Mouhcine El Ghomri

Mouhcine El Ghomri (* 1960 in Casablanca , Morocco ) is a German author , director and documentary filmmaker .

Life

He graduated from high school in 1980 with a bilingual Abitur (Arabic and French). After studying German at the University of Orléans in France with the DEUG final exam, he studied Romance languages, German and book studies at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz . After completing his master's degree, he worked as an editor for the show Reiselust at ZDF . Since 1995 he has been an author, director and documentary filmmaker for Südwestrundfunk. Since then he has made numerous documentaries for SWR and Arte .
