The Mount Dundas is a mountain in the west of the Australian state of Tasmania . It is located on the northwest corner of the West Coast Range .
Similar to Mount Lyell , Mount Dundas also had a number of mines and narrow-gauge railways for transporting ore. The most important copper and gold veins of the West Coast Range occur due to their complex geology in the area of the Mount Read volcanoes .
