Mount Harmer is a 1115 m (according to British data 1075 m ) high and icy mountain in the north-central part of Cook Island in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . It is the highest point on this island.
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it and named it in 1930. It is named after the British zoologist Sidney Frederic Harmer (1862–1950), who was a member of the advisory committee of this research series from 1924 to 1942.
