Mount Sourabaya is a 915 m high stratovolcano on Bristol Island in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . It rises one mile northwest of Mount Darnley .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1971 after the Sourabaya , a factory ship used for whaling , the crew of which witnessed the eruption of this volcano in 1935.
