Mount Stonehouse is a 2900 m high mountain in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . In the Queen Alexandra chain of the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises 6 km southwest of Mount Falla .
It got its name from participants in the 1961 to 1962 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition . It is named after the British Antarctic explorer Bernard Stonehouse (1926–2014), who carried out extensive studies on penguins and seals in the Antarctic.
