The Mowag dummy tank is a target display vehicle from the Swiss company Mowag .
History and Development
Originally designed as an armored reconnaissance vehicle, the dummy tank was built on the basis of the light all-terrain vehicle Mowag T1 4 × 4 for the purpose of targeting and as a moving target for the rocket grenade (exercise), for training projectiles of the rocket tube (20 mm barrel), the assault rifle 57 and for training hand grenades .
240 pieces were produced and used in the Swiss Army between 1954 and 1987 . The vehicle with the number M + 83124 is now in the Swiss Military Museum Full .
