Mr. Bigg's
Mr. Bigg's is a Nigerian fast food chain . It operates around 175 branches, four of them in Ghana , and is part of the United African Company of Nigeria .
Mr. Bigg's was founded in 1973 as Kingsway Mall and was the first fast food chain and the first drive-in restaurant in Nigeria. The restaurants of the chain, which was renamed Mr. Bigg's in 1986 , are based on McDonald’s in their red and yellow design and are mostly operated through franchising . There are Mr. Bigg's restaurants in 48 cities and more than a third in Lagos .
Mr. Bigg's specialty is pate . The offer includes international fast food dishes such as donuts , chicken nuggets and “ Scottish eggs ”, but also dishes from West African cuisine such as Benachin and Moi Moi .
