Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast in Six Flags St. Louis ( Eureka , Missouri , USA ) is a steel roller coaster model LIM Shuttle Loop Coaster manufactured by Premier Rides , which opened in April 1998.
The track was supposed to open in 1997, but since there were problems with the LIM speed system, Mr. Freeze was only opened in 1998. For the 2012 season, the trains were turned around so that the journey now begins with a backward-facing launch.
Your route is a reflection of Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast in Six Flags Over Texas .
journey
After being shot backwards from 0 to 113 km / h in 3.8 seconds, with 1.6 g acting, the train goes through the only inversion of the track - an inside- top hat , followed by a large over-sloping curve, its exit opens onto a vertical 66 m high tower. In order for the train to make the way back without any problems, additional LIMs are mounted on the tower's driveway so that the train can reach the maximum height of the tower. Ultimately, it drives through the route forwards again and is braked on the acceleration route.
Trains
Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast has two trains with five cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car. Originally Mr. Freeze had shoulder brackets, but these were replaced by pelvic braces for the 2002 season.
Usually only one train can run on a shuttle coaster . However, Mr. Freeze has two movable launch routes in the station. If a train is shot down, the people can already sit in the other train. When the first train is back in the station, the rails are moved to the side so that the second train can be shot down while people get off the first train and new people can get on.
