Mubabinge Bilolo

Mubabinge Bilolo wa Kaluka (born January 15, 1953 ) is an African philosopher and Egyptologist .

Bilolo studied philosophy, African religions, sociology and theology at the theological faculty of the University of Kinshasa and graduated in 1978 with a master's degree in African religion and philosophy, with minor subjects sociology and anthropology. He then studied philosophy, social sciences and theology at the Munich University of Philosophy / Philosophical Faculty SJ Munich and Egyptology, Ethnology / African Studies and Religious Studies at the University of Munich , where he wrote a dissertation on "Les Cosmo-Theologies Philosophiques de l'Egypte Antique. Problématique, Prémisses herméneutiques et Problèmes majeurs ”. This was followed by a post-doctoral degree from 1985 to 1989 in political and economic science at the University of Munich. The procedure for Venia legendi at the University of Zurich with a thesis on “L'Un (Wa) devient-il 'Multiple' (Hh)? Approche pragmatique des formules relatives à 'L'Un comme Multiple' ou à 'l'Auto-différenciation' de l'Un dans les Hymnes Thébains du Nouvel-Empire ”(Zurich 1992) was discontinued in 1997 because of religious and cultural affiliation. The habilitation candidate was strongly influenced by African and Roman Catholic, which for a Venia legendi for religious studies in a Protestant-influenced faculty could not be reconciled.

Mubabinge Bilolo has been head of the Egyptological Research Center within the African Institute for Future Research - [Institut Africain d'Études Prospectives], an institution of the African Union under the direction of the "Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique de la République" since 1991 Démocratique du Congo ”.

Subject areas of his scientific work are Egyptology , the history of African philosophy, African religion, the philosophy of history and the history of the philosophy of history.

In 2013 he received the International Prize for African Egyptology in Paris and at the end of 2013 in Belgium, on the occasion of his 60th anniversary, he was accepted into the circle of Negro-African scholars after (Cheikh Anta Diop, Ki-Zerbo , Obenga and Bimwenyi Kweshi).
