Mucize Doktor ( Turkish for miracle doctor ) is a Turkish hospital series about the young surgeon with autism and island talent Ali Vefa at Berhayat Hastanesi in Istanbul , which has been broadcast on the Turkish television channel FOX Türkiye since September 12, 2019 . It is an adaptation of the South Korean television series Good Doctor , which was broadcast on KBS 2 in 2013 .
It is one of the most successful Turkish television series; On September 26, 2019, the third episode achieved the highest market share ever measured in the advertising-relevant target group in the TNS rating system. New records were set for other episodes. It was also sold in more than 40 countries at the MIPCOM TV fair in Cannes in 2019.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey , filming and TV broadcasting of the first season were canceled at the end of March 2020. Shooting should start again in July.

Ali Vefa, who was born in the provincial town of Taşra and was given up for adoption in the orphanage by his father, finished his medical studies after one year at the top of his class and works on the recommendation of his mentor Adil as an assistant doctor in the private hospital Berhayat Hastanesi in Istanbul. Due to his talent for islands , he is regarded by colleagues and patients as a genius, but because of his autism he has problems especially in social interaction with patients.
