Mudassar Hussain Kapur (born December 14, 1976 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian politician of the conservative Høyre party . He has been a member of parliament in Storting since 2013 .

Life

Kapur was born in 1976 to Pakistani immigrants in Oslo . From 1995 to 2000 he studied market leadership and management at the BI Norwegian Business School . He then worked in various positions in the field of marketing. In 2006 he became the campaign manager for the Høyre party, which he remained until 2012. In 2011 he received a Masters in Business and Administration from the Norwegian Business School (NHH). From 2011 to 2013 he was a member of the Oslo City Council.

Kapur entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time in the 2013 general election . There he represents the constituency of Oslo and he became a member of the local and administrative committee. After the 2017 election , he moved to the Finance Committee, where he took over the position of Chairman on February 4, 2020. From March 2018 to January 2020 he was part of the parliamentary committee of his party.
