Mudurnuspor is a Turkish football club from Mudurnu , a city that belongs to the Bolu Province .
history
Foundation & beginnings
Mudurnuspor was founded in 1980 by the Savrikaya family with the name Düzce Kervan Doğsanspor . Already in the 1983/84 season the club rose to the TFF 3rd Lig . The soaring could be continued in the 1984/85 season, because there they were first place and marched straight through to the TFF 2nd Lig . There you could hold a year and rose again in the 1986/87 season in the TFF 3rd Lig, but managed to rise again in the 1989/90 season. In the 1992/93 season they were relegated from last place.
Modern times
After relegation, the club was replaced by Mudurnu Tavukçuluk A.Ş. , a manufacturer of frozen chickens, and has had its current name since the 1993/94 season. In 1994/95 the club was relegated to the amateur league, then returned to the TFF 3rd Lig in 1998/99. However, relegation could not be achieved and Mudurnuspor was relegated again and then played 13 years in the amateur league and the Bolu Amatoer Lig .
In the 2012/13 season Mudurnuspor reached first place in their group of Bolu Amatoer Lig and rose after a 1-0 win against Geredespor on May 5, 2013 in a play-off game in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig . The 2013/14 season in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig ended Mudurnuspor in 12th place and had to play in the relegation to avoid relegation. There they met on April 27, 2013 on Kıbrısçıkspor and lost the game 1: 4, so Mudurnuspor had to start again in the Bolu Amatoer Lig.
