Sheikh Muhammed Mehmet Adil (born March 29, 1957 in Damascus , Syria ) is a Cyprus- Turkish Islam and Sufi teacher of the Nakschibendi tradition, who lives and works in Turkey and Cyprus .

Sheikh Muhammed Mehmet Adil is the eldest son of Sheikh Muhammed Nâzım Adil and Amina Adil . He spent his youth and school days in Damascus . Under the guidance of Sheikh Abdullah Fa'iz ad-Daghestani and Sheikh Muhammed Nâzım Adil, he received his spiritual training in the Naqschbandī Sufi order. He also studied Islamic law with various scholars in Damascus. After the death of Sheikh Muhammad Nâzım Adil, Sheikh Muhammad Mehmet Adil was appointed as his successor to the 41st Grand Sheikh of the Naqshbandī Sufi Order. Sheikh Muhammed Mehmet Adil lives and teaches in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul .
