Multi-excavator

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A multi-excavator is a share whose price has multiplied. Special forms are ten excavators and twenty excavators , the course of which has increased tenfold and twentyfold according to their name.

The term "Tenbagger" was introduced in 1989 by fund manager Peter Lynch in his bestselling book One up on Wall Street (German title: Der Börse one step ahead ). In Chapter 6 with the title Stalking the Tenbagger (German title: On the prowl after the Tenbagger ) he gives private investors advice on how to identify Tenbagger: One should look around in his everyday environment for successful companies with "great business" and their future prospects are not yet reflected in the stock exchange price. As examples of Tenbagger, he names the fast-food chains Dunkin 'Donuts and McDonald’s , the car manufacturer Subaru and the drug manufacturer SmithKline Beecham .
