Multiusos Gondomar

Multiusos de Gondomar is a multi-purpose hall in the northern Portuguese city of Gondomar . It was built according to plans by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira and opened on June 28, 2007 by the Portuguese Finance Minister Teixeira dos Santos . The construction costs amounted to 20 million euros.

The hall has a floor space of 53,000 m², 9,483 m² of which is covered, and a spectator capacity of 4,400 seats (with standing space 8,000). It is used to host various sporting events as well as exhibitions and music concerts. In 2007 the European Futsal Championship took place here.
