The 6th European Futsal Championship was held from November 16 to 25, 2007 in Portugal . Eight national teams took part in the tournament, initially in groups and then in a knockout system . The Spanish team won the title for the second time in a row .
The EM was held for the second time in two different venues. The main venue was the Multiusos Gondomar in Gondomar , in which, in addition to two preliminary round groups, the semi-finals and finals were held. It has 3,800 seats.
Eight teams took part in the 2007 European Championship, and Portugal automatically qualified as hosts. A total of 33 nations competed for the remaining seven places. In a first round, the twelve teams with the worst UEFA coefficient played against each other in two groups. The group winners and the best runner-up advanced to the next round, where they were drawn together with the 24 remaining teams in seven groups of four. The first in the group finally qualified for the finals.
The eight participants in the final round were drawn into two groups.
