The Ukrainian national futsal team is a representative selection of Ukrainian futsal players . The team represents the Ukrainian Football Association at international matches. The team is one of the strongest teams in Europe, in 2001 and 2003 the team became vice-European champions .

Performing in tournaments

Ukraine has taken part in six European championships so far. In 2001 and 2003 they reached the final, but lost just under Spain (1: 2 after Sudden Death, 2001) and Italy (0: 1, 2003).

The national team qualified three times for World Cup finals under the auspices of FIFA . When they participated for the first time in 1996, they came under the last four straight away and lost 2: 3 in the small final to the Russian selection. Four years later, they narrowly failed in qualifying against eventual world champions Spain with 0: 1.

In 2008, the Ukrainian team took third place in the Grand Prix de Futsal organized by the Brazilian Federation every year .
