Performing in tournaments
In 1992 the Yugoslav team qualified for the World Cup in Hong Kong, but after the draw had already taken place on the basis of resolutions passed by the United Nations because of the Yugoslav wars, they were excluded and replaced by Belgium. Since then you have regularly participated in the qualification, but failed each time.
The Serbian team qualified four times in eight attempts for European championships, most recently three times in a row. The best result was reaching the quarter-finals in 2010. In 2008, Serbia took part in the Grand Prix de Futsal in Brazil and finished in 5th place.
