Performing in tournaments
Although the Belarusian national team has been performing regularly internationally since 1994, it was not until the Futsal European Championship in 2010 that the team qualified for the first time for the finals of a major tournament. There the team failed after a 1: 9 defeat at the start against eventual European champions Spain and a 5-5 draw against eventual runners-up Portugal in the preliminary round.
