The Turkish national futsal team is a representative selection of Turkish futsal players . The team represents the Turkish Football Association at international matches.

Performing in tournaments

The Turkish national team started playing in 2006, but subsequently missed the qualification for the European Championship finals in 2007 and 2010 and the World Cup finals in 2008 . In 2012, under coach Ömer Kaner , players of Turkish origin from Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands surprisingly qualified for the 2012 European Championship finals . However , they failed in qualifying for the 2012 World Cup .
