The qualification for the Futsal European Championship 2012 took place in spring 2011 in a total of eleven groups in different countries. In addition to the EM host Croatia , the other eleven starting places were secured in the qualification. In the preliminary round, the participants with the worst UEFA coefficient played against each other in four groups. The first three in the group advanced to the qualifying round.
For the final tournament from January 31 to February 11, 2012 in Zagreb and Split , Spain, Azerbaijan, Russia, Serbia, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, Italy and Slovenia qualified.
