Adahuesca ( Aragonese Adauesca ) is a Spanish municipality in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon . It is located in the Comarca Somontano de Barbastro , about 40 kilometers east of Huesca and 5.5 kilometers northeast of Abiego . Parts of the municipality belong to the natural park Parque natural de la sierra de Guara .

history
On May 4, 1288, King Alfons III handed over . the place to Pedro Martínez de Luna. In 1381, when Adahuesca was crown property, King Peter IV sold the now defunct castle of Adahuesca to Manuel de Entenza.
