Location of the municipality

La Fueva ( Aragonese A Fueva ) is a municipality in the north of the Spanish province of Huesca in the Aragon region . The municipality belongs to the Comarca Sobrarbe . La Fueva currently (January 1, 2019) has 587 inhabitants on an area of ​​218.85 km².

Tierrantona is the main town in the municipality, where the town hall is also located.

history

La Fueva was created in 1999 when the municipalities of Tierrantona and Fuendecampo merged .
