Huesca [ ˈweska ] ( Aragonese Uesca , Catalan Osca ) is a province in the autonomous community of Aragón in northeastern Spain . The province borders France to the north, the Catalan province of Lleida to the east, the Aragonese province of Saragossa to the south , and the autonomous community of Navarre to the west . It covers an area of 15,636.15 km² and has 220,461 (2019) inhabitants. The population density is 14 inhabitants per square kilometer. Large parts of the province lie in the Pyrenees and the Pre-Pyrenees, including the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park .
The capital of the province is Huesca .
