Benasque (in the local dialect Patués : Benás ) is a Spanish municipality in the province of Huesca in the autonomous region of Aragón . It belongs to the jurisdiction of Boltaña and the Ribagorza district . Benasque has 2155 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019).

geography

Benasque is located in the Pyrenees in the northeast of the province of Huesca, about 140 km from the capital Huesca. The river Ésera flows through the village.
