Sesa is a municipality in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain . It is located in the Hoya de Huesca on the right bank of the Río Guatizalema and on the A-131 road.

history

The place, which was probably already settled in Roman times under the name Sesars, was first mentioned in a document in 1103 on the occasion of a donation of Sesa Castle to the Cathedral of Huesca by King Pedro I of Aragón .
