Puente de Montañana ( Catalan Pont de Montanyana ) is a Catalan-speaking municipality belonging to the Franja de Aragón in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain . It is located in the south of the Comarca Ribagorza on the west bank of the Noguera Ribagorzana River .

economy

Traditional weaving and a mill died out. The community owns a hydroelectric power station on the Noguera Pallaresana. The former importance for administration and schools no longer exists due to depopulation.
