David Steffen (* 1966 ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1988 to 1992, Steffen trained as an actor at the State Drama School in Stuttgart . There he studied together with Jasmin Tabatabai, among others .

Steffen has appeared as an actor in feature films , television films and television series since the mid-1990s . In the cinema he was often used in literary adaptations and productions with a contemporary background. In the Austrian film Internationale Zone (1994), based on the novel of the same name by Milo Dor , he played the leading role of the former partisan Paul , who met his old friend Sascha again in post-war Vienna and discovered that he was involved in black market deals; a character that bears the features of the writer Paul Celan , with whom Dor was friends.
