Villanova ( Aragonese Bilanoba , Billanoba in the local dialect Benasqués) is a municipality in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain . It is located in the Comarca Ribagorza in the middle of the Pyrenees on the river Ésera in the valley of Benasque . In Villanova, as in Benasque, a Catalan - Aragonese transition dialect known as Benasqués is spoken.

economy
