Castejón de Monegros is a Spanish municipality in the comarca of Monegros in the province of Huesca in the Aragon region on the eastern foothills of the Sierra de Alcubierre .
economy
The agrarian town, around 15 kilometers north of the Autopista AP-2 motorway , is irrigated by the Canal de Monegros . A commercial area was developed. In Castejón there is a small airfield that is not served by regular service (identifier: LECJ).

Attractions
- Ruins of a medieval, rectangular castle, now used as the hermitage of San Sebastián and San Fabián.
- Parish church Nuestra Señora de la Lumbre in the Cistercian-influenced Gothic style with the main altar by Miguel de Ximénez, which was partially destroyed in the Spanish Civil War, but has been restored.
- Santa Ana Hermitage
- Hermitage of San Miguel in Jubierre near the Río Alcanadre .
- Casa Consistorial from the 16th century (restored in 2002).
- La Madre aqueduct (approx. Four kilometers from the village), protected as an architectural monument since 2006 ( Bien de Interés Cultural ).
