Monesma y Cajigar ( Catalan Monesma i Caixigar or Monesma i Queixigar ) is a Catalan-speaking municipality belonging to the Franja de Aragón in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain . It is located in the Comarca Ribagorza between the rivers Isábena and Noguera Ribagorzana in the north-south direction to Tolva running valleys of the Río Caijigar and its tributary Río de Monesma.
