Benabarre ( Catalan Benabarri or Benavarri ) is a Catalan-speaking municipality belonging to the Franja de Aragón in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain . It is the historic capital of the Ribagorza . Benabarre is on the N 230 road from the French border via Vielha to Lleida , from which the N 123 road to Barbastro branches off.
