architecture
The church , consecrated to Our Lady , is a late Romanesque building made of stone . Before the Romanesque south portal with archivolts one was gothic hall with vaulted in front. The side chapels of the single-nave church also date from a later period. The apse is semicircular inside and polygonal outside . A lot of carved corbels can be seen below the roof approach . On the west facade there is a Gothic portal and a bell gable ( espadaña ). Remnants of medieval wall paintings depicting the apostles were discovered in the church.
The remains of a cemetery found near the church speak for an abandoned village whose church may have been Nuestra Señora de Treviño.
