Murat Karaaslan

Murat Karaaslan (* 1955 in Malatya ) is a German-Turkish writer.

Karaaslan went to Germany as a guest worker in 1971. Here he worked a. a. at Thyssen and as a laboratory technician. From the 1980s he wrote texts, including a. as a member of the literary café Fakir Baykurt . Karaaslan works on topics from the areas of German-Turkish life, the world of work and the Alevi religion.

Aside from the Fakir Baykurt literary café ( poems that flow into the Rhine , article 1994), publications are only available in Turkish.
