Muriel Lienau
Muriel Lienau (* 1965 ) is a French manager . She is the head of Nestlé Switzerland. After Nelly Wenger, Lienau is the second woman to head the Swiss national division of the group.
Professional career and origin
Between 1985 and 1988 Lienau attended the ESCP-EAP business school. She started in 1991 as brand manager at Nestlé in Germany. In 1994 she became head of marketing at Cereal Partners Worldwide Germany, a breakfast cereal company owned by Nestlé and the US food company General Mills . She then became Head of Information and Marketing at Nestlé Germany.
In 2007 Lienau moved to Nestlé France as manager of the Dolce Gusto capsule coffee . In 2011 Lienau took over the management of the beverage division in her home country. From 2015 she headed global sales and marketing at Nestlé Waters. She has been at the helm of Nestlé Switzerland since the beginning of July 2018.
Lienau is married and has four children.
