Murneen North

Murneen North ( Irish Muirnín Thuaidh ) is north of Claremorris ( Irish Clár Chlainne Mhuiris ), east of the R320 in County Mayo in Ireland .

The small west-east oriented megalithic complex is located on a small hill in a pasture. It consists of a large capstone that is about 2.0 m long, 1.5 m wide and 0.35 m thick. It is supported in the north by a single orthostat 0.7 m high, 1.1 m wide and 0.35 m thick. A second slab of similar size lies on the side to the south. Remnants of a mound are present.
