Murodjon Xolmurodov , mostly Muradjan Khalmuratov , (in Cyrillic: Муроджон Холмуродов; born June 11, 1982 in Tashkent ) is an Uzbek cyclist .

Career

Murodjon Xolmurodov was eight times Uzbek national champion from 2011 to 2018, including seven times in the individual time trial and one time in the road race . His most significant international success to date was in 2011 with the overall victory of the Tour of China stage race . At the Asian Cycling Championships in 2013 , he won both the road race and the individual time trial. In 2018 he finished second in the individual time trial at the Asian Games .

In 2018 and 2019 , Xolmurodov won bronze in the points race at the Asian Track Championships . At the UCI Road World Championships in 2019 , he finished 47th in the individual time trial.
