The Musée Jules-Verne is a museum founded in 1978 in Nantes , France, dedicated to the writer Jules Verne , who was born and raised in the city.

The museum is located in the inner city area of ​​Nantes in the Bellevue - Chantenay - Sainte-Anne district. It is on the top of the Sainte-Anne hill overlooking the Loire and the port of Nantes. Next to the museum, the St Anne's staircase leads down to the Marquis-d'Aiguillon quay on the Loire. Not far from here, Jules Verne's parents had a country house in the former Bas-Chantenay from 1840.

The museum opened in 1978 on the 150th birthday of Jules Verne. It is located in a building that was built between 1872 and 1878 by the architect Ernest-Marie Buron. During the 20th century it was divided into several apartments and gradually acquired by the city of Nantes from 1965 to 1973. On the 100th anniversary of Jules Verne's death in 2005, the building was renovated.
