The flexor pollicis brevis muscle ( Latin for "short thumb flexor ") is one of the muscles of the ball of the thumb . It inserts at the base of the proximal (close to the body) phalanx (phalanx) of the thumb. The domestic animals this muscle does not exist.


The flexor pollicis brevis muscle flexes the thumb .
