Museu Ibérico da Máscara e do Traje

The Museu Ibérico da Máscara e do Traje is a museum in the northern Portuguese city of Bragança . It was built on February 24, 2007 in an old house within the castle complex and its permanent exhibition is devoted to objects, masks and costumes used for the traditional winter festivals ( Festas do Inverno ).

The museum was created as a cross-border project between the two neighboring cities of Bragança (Portugal) and Zamora (Spain) in order to preserve the culture and traditions that bind the two peoples together.
