Museum polling
The Polling Museum is located at Kirchplatz 11 in Polling , an Upper Bavarian municipality in the Weilheim-Schongau district .
The museum shows a collection on religious art, popular piety, local history, natural history, painting and everyday culture on three floors in the former seminarist building of Polling Monastery . The thousand-year history of the monastery is also shown and can be accessed at a media station.
The museum has an extensive collection of minerals and fossils as well as an exhibition on the origin of the Pollingen limestone tuff .
