The Museum of Inner Mongolia ( Chinese  内蒙古 博物院 , Pinyin Nèiménggŭ Bówùyuàn ; English : Inner Mongolia Museum ) was founded in 1957 and is located in the regional capital Hohhot .

It is the largest museum of the Mongolian peoples and the only 1st class state museum in the entire autonomous region . The exhibition preserves exhibits from ethnology and natural history. This gives visitors a general idea of ​​the historical relationships between nature and civilization.
